Makeup Artist in Valletta, Malta
Make-up in Valletta, for the capital’s galas, cathedral weddings and dinners inside three-hundred-year-old palazzos.
What gets booked in Valletta
Valletta books differently from the rest of Malta. Ceremonies at St John’s Co-Cathedral and receptions in palazzo courtyards run to a strict schedule, evening events at the Waterfront and the theatres start late, and the whole city is walkable — which means guests arrive on foot, in summer heat, and the make-up has to survive the walk as well as the room.
Practical notes
Long-wear, heat-stable products are the default for anything inside the bastions between June and September. For a ceremony with a fixed hour I work backwards from it, and for an evening event the finish is built for warm indoor light and photographs taken against stone.
